Description
The nasopharyngeal tube (nasal tube) is an emergency aid for breathing difficulties. It is used to insert into the nasal passage and provide air access to the respiratory tract.
When a person loses consciousness, the jaw muscles usually relax and can allow the tongue to sink into the throat, which will cause the airway to be blocked and death from suffocation. The nasopharyngeal tube is used to prevent this and save the patient's life. It allows you to create a free channel for breathing in victims who are in a semi-conscious or unconscious state (with an intact (intact) gag reflex).
