Description
In the second Millennium, the military equipment has received major changes because of new threats and challenges. The highest level of protection was required, so the Russian army needed a reliable body armor.
6b13 was the first Russian assault body armor with a high area of protection. The bulletproof vest is a transitional link of evolution between 6b23 and 6b45. The vest has a front pocket for a plate, two back plate pockets, a high collar and shoulder pads for a weapon sling, backpack, LBE or MOLLE vest.
The vest is adjustable in width with the help of side slings. The front of the collar can be folded for convenience and fixed with Velcro on the front panel. 6b13 is one of the rarest body armor of the Russian armed forces, used during the Ossetian conflict.
