In the second millennium, the military equipment has received major changes in the face of new threats and challenges. The best level of protection was required, so the Russian army needed reliable body armor.   

6b23 was the most massive Russian all-army bulletproof vest before the appearance of 6b45 and Ratnik kit. This vest was used by all units, has internal and external cummerbands, as well as unremovable climate pads. There is also a neck and a plow protection against fragments.   

It is adjustable in width. The front of the collar can be folded out for comfort. 6b23 is one of the most famous Russian vests, was used during the Georgian conflict.
