The heaviness of body armor and carried ammunition affects the health of the shooter. Running, jumping, falling, and even walking for a long time can hurt the joints afterwards if the vest sits on you too freely.

Ars Arma equips AVS with a skeletal cummerbund that securely holds the vest on the operator. The cummerbund also allows you to place additional equipment, armor and pouches on it, and it is perfectly combined with the AVS corset and StKSS system.

This cummerbund can be mounted both on a corset or on the frontal and back plate carriers to use AVS as a usual plate carrier.
