SF operatives use NVG in modern combat conditions very often, but don`t use helmets with NVG mount sometimes, because they`re heavy and take much free space in backpack, for example, during the raids in woodland or mountain terrain.
That's why ArsArma LLC has developed NighCap hat, which allows to mount NVG and NVG power source on it.
The hat may be placed to the backpack, it's very compact and doesn't require much free space. It's the best choice if you use NVG ,but don't use helmet.
