Description
Desperate times required desperate measures. After the emergence of a new terrorist threat, special forces of the USSR needed new weapons and equipment. First of all, this influenced armor protection, it was necessary to develop body armor and helmets that would provide the highest possible level of protection during the combat in buildings or transport.
In the 1990s, K6-3, an analogue of "Altyn" was developed. This helmet had several minor design differences (the use of rivets, a more reliable visor mount) and also did not have a radio headset. This replica by Gear Craft exactly repeats the appearance of the helmet and DOES NOT have protective properties. The helmet has an original suspension system, a steel visor with a steel frame for removable glass, which protects when playing airsoft. The visor can be fixed in the upper and lower positions.
The helmet has recognizable appearance and is great for re-enacting FSB in Chechen wars or other Russian special forces in later periods.
