The T-72 Ural is a post-war Soviet main battle tank. The most mass-produced post-war tank. Adopted in the armed Forces of the USSR in 1973. The T-72 was developed and produced by Uralvagonzavod in Nizhny Tagil. The Ural is in service in Russia and was exported to the Warsaw Pact States, Finland, India, Iran, Iraq, Syria, India, and others.
