First aid often depends on how quickly it is possible to get to the wound, so it is much more expedient to cut everything that prevents life saving. Scissors are used to cut through dense tissue to get to the wound and provide first aid.   

The special design of the scissors makes it possible to exclude the possibility of injuring the fighter from whom the equipment is cut, so the tip is bent sideways on the lower blade.   

Scissors for opening clothes and equipment must certainly be in the first aid kit of a military medic.
